Accessibility Statement

Fentay Maharat-Alamu

I invest a lot in the accessibility of my website and see the utmost importance in providing an equal service to all surfers, including people with disabilities. I consider the accessibility of my website for people with disabilities to be of utmost importance. An accessible website improves the comfort and ease of use for people with disabilities.

Website accessibility helps the following population:

  • People with visual disabilities, from those who are totally blind, through visual impairments and color and tone blindness to those who wear glasses.
  • People with physical disabilities, who have motor difficulties in their hands that make it difficult to operate the mouse.
  • People with hearing impairment who need subtitles while watching a video.
  • People with additional difficulties such as: reading difficulties, those with comprehension problems, learning disabilities and more.

I use this website as an auxiliary component (graphic applet) for website accessibility and is intended to help make the website accessible in accordance with the regulations on equal rights for people with disabilities (service accessibility adjustments), 2013-2013 and the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, level AA standard.

Below is a description of some of the operations carried out as part of the site’s accessibility:

Accessibility menu – on every page you will find an accessibility menu that allows you to:

  • Navigation using the keyboard.
  • Monochrome display (S/L).
  • Dark contrast.
  • Bright contrast/contrast.
  • Increase or decrease font size.
  • legible font.
  • Zoom in or out screen.
  • Highlight links and titles.
  • Alternative texts for images.
  • Directly to the content of the page, to the main menu and to the search, using the keyboard.

All actions on the site can be performed using a keyboard as follows:

To move between links: Pressing the Tab key moves to the next link and pressing the Enter key activates the link. Pressing Shift-Tab moves to the previous link.

to enlarge or reduce the screen: Pressing the Ctrl key and the + key increases the size of the screen display, pressing the Ctrl key and the – key decreases the size of the screen display.

Restrictions for accessibility and accessibility inquiries:

The site is a dynamic site that includes various content entry systems that operate using the WYSIWYG method. There may be a situation where certain parts of dynamic content pages will include components that the accessibility applet could not fully access and intervention in the website code will be required.

I continue to invest a lot of effort in making the site accessible. At the same time, it is possible that parts of the site that are not yet accessible will be discovered. If you encountered a problem or have a comment or question, I would appreciate it if you wrote to me so that I can fix what is required as soon as possible. Also, the site may also display content from other sites that have not yet been accessed and we cannot be responsible for third party content, but I would be happy to receive your comments and contact third parties and draw their attention to the issue.

As of the date of writing this statement, PDF files, Word files, media files (videos) on the site are still not accessible. Also, data tables are partially accessible to screen readers, due to an application problem in the site’s technological infrastructure.

Inquiries regarding accessibility, questions or clarifications and additional suggestions can be directed to me Through the contact page on the websites or by e-mail Fentayalamu@gmail.com or by phone: 054-909-0499⁩ In charge of accessibility in the company.

The accessibility statement is correct as of: 10.5.26
